Renowned for its five-star service, refined interior, and high-profile clientele, the hotel is more than a destination — it’s a lifestyle brand. As part of their growing retail and gifting range, Chiltern Firehouse sought to launch a bespoke line of luxury candles that guests could enjoy in-room or take home as elegant souvenirs.

To bring this vision to life, they partnered with Luxury Tube Packaging, a leading butted tubes company, to create premium custom tube packaging that aligned with their distinctive aesthetic.

Custom Luxury Tube Packaging for Candles

Chiltern Firehouse required butted tubes that were equal parts functional and luxurious — delivering the kind of detail and craftsmanship that reflects their hotel brand. We designed fully bespoke printed cardboard tubes specifically for their candle collection. Built from premium uncoated paper, each tube was printed using full CMYK with added foil detailing and blind embossing on the lid, reinforcing the luxurious and tactile feel of the packaging.

To enhance both protection and presentation, the tubes were engineered with the following specifications:

  • Internal Height of Lid: 70mm
  • Internal Height of Base (inc. spigot): 65mm
  • Spigot Showing: 25mm
  • Internal Diameter: 80mm
  • External Diameter (with rolled ends): 85mm
  • External Height (with rolled ends): 120mm
  • External Height (without rolled ends): 110mm

This custom luxury tube design offered the perfect balance of structural integrity and style, making it ideal for candle box packaging, beauty packaging, or other high-end retail items.

Finishing Touches & Outcome

The finished butted tubes featured carefully chosen brand-enhancing extras, including a vibrant red tassel for a sophisticated pop of colour and a custom white sticker inside the lid to complete the user experience.
